Coca-Cola Commits $10 Billion to Boost US Manufacturing
Coca-Cola announced it will invest $10 billion in US manufacturing by 2030 to meet growing demand for its beverages. This system-wide investment includes a mix of new and previously announced projects that will expand production, distribution, and office facilities.
The investments include bottling distribution facilities in California and Colorado, as well as manufacturing plants in Indiana and Michigan. The company also plans to spend $10 billion on US suppliers, supporting 1 million jobs across its total value chain.
Coca-Cola's economic impact in the US was highlighted by an independent study commissioned by the company. The report found that Coca-Cola contributes $85 billion to the US gross domestic product and $10 million in US economic activity each hour.
