Coca-Cola Commits $10 Billion to US Infrastructure by 2030
Coca-Cola has announced plans to invest $10 billion in US infrastructure by 2030. The investment will cover both Coca-Cola and its bottling partners, with projects already underway in states including California, Colorado, Alabama, and New York.
The $10 billion figure includes spending by bottling partners, as well as the company itself. Chief Financial Officer John Murphy clarified that this represents a system-wide total, rather than just Coca-Cola's capital expenditure alone.
A recent study commissioned independently found that the US operations of the Coca-Cola system contributed $85 billion to the country's GDP in one year and supported nearly 1 million jobs. The system also spent around $37 billion with US suppliers.
