Coca-Cola Contributes to Shock Liver Death
A 22-year-old man in China died after consuming a large amount of Coca-Cola.
The young man was found to have low blood pressure, a high heart rate, and severe gas buildup, according to reports.
Doctors explained that the consumption of sugary and carbonated beverages can lead to several health issues, including weight gain, obesity, type 2 diabetes, cavities, and fatty liver disease.
The frequent intake of soft drinks can also cause ischemic hepatitis, also known as 'shock liver,' which occurs when there is a lack of blood and oxygen supply to the liver.
