Coca-Cola Expands Flavor Lineup with Cherry Lime and Strawberry Float

The Coca-Cola Company is preparing for a major flavor expansion in 2027, introducing new beverages across several of its brands. The company announced plans to launch new flavors for its flagship Coca-Cola drink, as well as Powerade, Mr. Pibb, and Topo Chico. Additionally, a limited test of prebiotic versions of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Sprite Zero Sugar, and Fresca will begin in late October in parts of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Two new flavors will be added to the standard Coca-Cola lineup: Cherry Lime, launching in February, and Strawberry Float, arriving next summer. Both flavors will be available in zero-sugar and full-sugar versions. Shakir Moin, president of marketing for North America at Coca-Cola, stated that the company aims to meet evolving consumer preferences with these new offerings.

Other brands under the Coca-Cola umbrella will also see new additions. Powerade will introduce Watermelon and Lemon Lime Zero Sugar in January, while Mr. Pibb will offer a limited-time Black Currant flavor in spring, featuring blackberry and black currant notes and containing 54 mg of caffeine. Topo Chico will expand its lineup with Colección in October and Sabores Pineapple Coconut in February, adding tropical flavors to its sparkling water offerings.

Lastly, Core Power protein shakes will debut a new banana flavor in January, available in both 26-g and 42-g protein options. The company notes that this is the brand’s first new flavor in about a decade.
