Coca-Cola Expands Portfolio to Over 500 Brands Amid Shifting Consumer Preferences

The Coca-Cola Company is a multinational beverage corporation founded in 1892 by pharmacist Asa Griggs Candler. The company has grown from a single cola brand to owning over 500 different brands, including soft drinks, juice, tea, coffee, and other beverages.

Coca-Cola's flagship brand is the iconic and globally recognized Coca-Cola, which occupies two of the top five bestselling carbonated drinks worldwide. Two of the oldest brands owned by the company are Fanta and Sprite.

In response to shifting consumer preferences for healthier beverage options, The Coca-Cola Company introduced several bottled water options, including Dasani, Ciel, and Smartwater. The company also owns sports drink Powerade, smoothie brand Innocent Drinks, and orange juice brands Minute Maid and Simply Orange.
