Coca-Cola Eyes $10B Valuation for Indian Bottling Unit IPO
Coca-Cola is reportedly considering a potential initial public offering (IPO) of its Indian bottling unit, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages. According to Bloomberg News, the beverage giant has added Axis Capital and IIFL Capital Services to the lineup of banks advising on the IPO.
The potential listing would primarily involve a sale of shares by existing investors, valuing Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages at around $10 billion, Bloomberg reported. An offering could raise approximately $1 billion.
Kotak Mahindra Capital, Citigroup, JPMorgan, and Morgan Stanley are also advising on the transaction, according to media reports.
