Coca-Cola Imports Finished Products from Indonesia to Meet Philippine Demand
The Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP) has started importing finished Coca-Cola products from Indonesia to meet the growing demand for the beverage in the country. The imports are a result of CCEAP's efforts to ensure reliable product availability and expand its local manufacturing capabilities.
CCEAP confirmed that it has been importing 320-milliliter and 1.5-liter Coca-Cola Original Taste variants from Indonesia, which were manufactured by PT Coca-Cola Bottling Indonesia, a plant under the network of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP).
The labels of the imported products indicated that they were manufactured for export to the Philippines and were imported and distributed by CCEAP. The Bureau of Customs (BOC) records confirmed that millions of liters of Coca-Cola Original Taste products have entered the country, with proper value-added tax (VAT) and excise taxes paid.
CCEAP assured consumers that all Coca-Cola Original Taste products, imported or locally produced, follow the same standards to ensure they have the same quality and taste. The company emphasized that it manages its supply network to help ensure product availability for consumers.
