Coca-Cola Invests $10 Billion in U.S. Infrastructure Amid White House Claims
Coca-Cola's plans to invest $10 billion in U.S. infrastructure over five years have been touted by the White House as a 'Trump Effect.' The announcement comes after President Trump presented Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey with a commemorative Diet Coke bottle before his inauguration, marking a long-standing relationship between the two.
The investment plan covers new or expanded production, distribution, and office facilities across the U.S. system, including independent bottling partners. CFO John Murphy stated that the $10 billion includes local bottlers investing in manufacturing, distribution, and sales, with 'the lion's share' coming from these investments.
A study by Steward Redqueen estimated the U.S. system contributed $85 billion to GDP in 2025, supported nearly 1 million jobs, spent about $37 billion with U.S. suppliers, and directed $177 million to community programs through the Coca-Cola Foundation and Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
