Coca-Cola Partners with Newcastle United in Multi-Million-Dollar Deal
Newcastle United has secured a multi-million-dollar partnership deal with Coca-Cola, naming the beverage giant as its Official Soft Drinks Partner. The agreement makes Coca-Cola the presenting partner of the St. James' STACK fanzone and hands it significant branding rights around Newcastle's home stadium.
According to club insiders, the exact fee for the partnership has not been disclosed, but it is described as a multi-million-dollar deal. Newcastle United's Chief Revenue Officer, Dave O'Connor, framed the partnership as more than just a standard sponsorship, stating that Coca-Cola 'has a long and rich history in sport'.
The partnership aligns with Public Investment Fund (PIF) goals to make Newcastle one of the world's biggest clubs by 2030. PIF wants to increase revenue streams like this one to fund recruitment and infrastructure across the club, including backing for players such as midfield prospect Sean Steur.
