Coca-Cola Partners with Newcastle United in Multi-Year Deal
Newcastle United has announced a multi-year commercial partnership with Coca-Cola, making the drinks giant its official soft drink partner. The deal also sees Coca-Cola become the presenting partner of St. James' STACK fanzone outside the stadium.
The club's Chief Revenue Officer Dave O'Connor said: 'Coca-Cola has a long and rich history in sport, holding relationships with some of the biggest names in world football. We're delighted to welcome such an esteemed partner to Newcastle United.'
Dusan Stojankic, General Manager at Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland, pointed to the city's identity as the reason behind the deal: 'Newcastle United is a club that represents far more than football... From the incredible atmosphere at St. James' Park to the deep connection between the club, the city and its supporters, there is something truly distinctive about it.'
The agreement fits into a wider commercial push under Newcastle's owners, PIF, who have set out plans to turn the club into one of the largest in world football by 2030.
