Coca-Cola Pledges $10B US Infrastructure Boost
Coca-Cola has announced plans to invest $10 billion in US infrastructure between 2026 and 2030. The investment will cover the company and its bottling partners, who are also expected to contribute a significant portion of the funds.
The planned spending includes projects previously announced in California, Colorado, Alabama, New York, and other states. Chief Financial Officer John Murphy stated that the $10 billion figure represents a system-wide investment rather than Coca-Cola's capital expenditure alone.
A recent study commissioned by Coca-Cola found that its US system contributed $85 billion to U.S. gross domestic product in one year and supported nearly 1 million jobs. The company also spent about $37 billion with U.S. suppliers and donated $177 million to community programs through the Coca-Cola Foundation and the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
