Coca-Cola Pours $10 Billion into US Manufacturing Infrastructure
Coca-Cola has announced plans to invest $10 billion in its US manufacturing infrastructure by 2030. This investment will be used to expand production, distribution, and office facilities across the country.
The beverage giant and its bottlers are planning to build new facilities in several locations, including Rancho Cucamonga, California; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Indianapolis; Birmingham, Alabama; Coopersville, Michigan; Orlando; St. Cloud, Minnesota; and Webster, New York. The investments will also include the expansion of existing facilities.
Coca-Cola commissioned an independent study to measure its economic impact in the US, one of its largest markets. The report found that the company contributes $85 billion to the US GDP and supports 1 million jobs across the total value chain. Coca-Cola spends $37 billion with US suppliers, according to the report.
