Coca-Cola Prepares Indian Bottling Unit for $10 Billion Valuation
Coca-Cola is reportedly considering filing draft initial public offering (IPO) papers in December for its Indian bottling unit, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages. The move aims to raise around $1 billion and value the company at approximately $10 billion.
The IPO is expected to consist mainly of shares sold by existing investors, with Axis Capital and IIFL Capital Services among the banks working on the deal. However, the timing, valuation, and structure remain subject to change as deliberations continue.
