Coca-Cola Raises Forecasts After Strong Second Quarter
Coca-Cola has raised its annual forecasts after beating second-quarter estimates. The company's comparable revenue rose about 6 percent to $13.37 billion, surpassing predictions of $13.16 billion.
The beverage giant attributed the growth to robust US demand for its zero-sugar drinks and fairlife milk brand, as well as sales tied to the FIFA World Cup.
Coca-Cola is FIFA's official beverage sponsor, and the company said its campaign for the World Cup 2026 contributed to volume growth in its trademark Coca-Cola and energy drink Powerade during the quarter ended July 3.
The company has also invested in other beverages in its portfolio, including ready-to-drink teas as well as milk products from its fairlife brand.
