Coca-Cola Reigns Supreme in Blind Taste Test

A taste test of seven different colas was conducted to determine the best all-around 'coke' from the grocery store. The testers, editors of Southern Living, sampled each cola without seeing the packaging to fairly evaluate them.

The contenders included Sam's Cola (Walmart), Pepsi, RC Cola, Big K Cola (Kroger), Coca-Cola, Summit Cola (ALDI), and Publix Cola. The testers scored each brand on taste, texture, and overall experience using a scale from 1 to 5.

The results were surprising: RC Cola was the runner-up, with editors praising its balanced flavor and sweetness. However, Coca-Cola took the top spot, known for its classic balance of sweetness and acidity.
