Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages has completed a $42 million expansion of its San Antonio bottling facility, adding 170,000 square feet of warehouse space and a second production line.

The project, located at 1 Coca-Cola Place near the Frost Bank Center, nearly doubles the facility's footprint and is designed to increase production and storage capacity as demand grows across Central Texas.

The expanded warehouse can hold about 20% more finished product than the previous facility, providing additional capacity for seasonal demand and higher volumes during holidays.

The second production line will manufacture additional varieties and sizes of Coca-Cola products, including mini Coke, Coke Zero, and Sprite cans. The new line is designed to operate faster than the facility's original line, increasing the number of units it can produce locally.
