Coca-Cola System Contributes $85 Billion to US Economy
The Coca-Cola Company has been operating for over 140 years and continues to play a significant role in the US economy. The company's contributions to the country's GDP are substantial, with its system contributing $85 billion in 2025 alone.
This includes supporting nearly one million jobs across the country, which is comprised of direct jobs within the Coca-Cola system and those supported by goods and services it purchases. The company also spends approximately $37 billion with American suppliers, helping to support local farmers and businesses that source ingredients, produce packaging, and transport its beverages.
Furthermore, the Coca-Cola system contributes $177 million in community programs in the US through The Coca-Cola Foundation and the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. These programs focus on education and economic empowerment, among other initiatives.
In addition to its current contributions, the company has plans to invest $10 billion in US infrastructure by 2030, including new or expanded production, distribution, and office facilities.
