Coca-Cola Taps Experienced Leader Rob Gehring as North America President
The Coca-Cola Company has named Rob Gehring as its new North America president, effective December 1, 2026. This appointment marks Gehring's return to the company after a stint at Monster Energy Company, where he served as CEO of Americas since February this year.
Gehring brings over three decades of experience in the beverage and consumer goods sectors. Before joining Monster Energy, he held various senior positions across the industry, including president of Coca-Cola's Walmart global team from 2011 to 2016.
Coca-Cola CEO Henrique Braun praised Gehring's exceptional leadership skills and deep operational expertise, stating that he is a 'trusted partner' within the system. Gehring will succeed John Murphy, who has led the North America operating unit on an interim basis since August.
