Coca-Cola Taps Monster Exec to Lead North America Unit

Coca-Cola has announced that Rob Gehring will take over as leader of its North America unit on December 1. Gehring is currently the executive at Monster Energy, a position he's held since February.

Gehring was previously the CEO of Swire Coca-Cola USA and has been part of Coca-Cola's leadership team driving growth initiatives and modernizing commercial capabilities.

Coca-Cola reported 7% net sales growth in its second quarter, while North America volumes rose 3%. Monster Energy, on the other hand, saw a 20% increase in net sales during the same period.
