Coca-Cola Targets $10 Billion Infrastructure Spend by 2030
Coca-Cola is set to invest $10 billion in US infrastructure between 2026 and 2030, with spending covering both the company itself and its bottling partners. The planned investment includes previously announced projects in states such as California, Colorado, Alabama, and New York.
The figure of $10 billion represents a system-wide total, not just Coca-Cola's capital expenditure alone, according to Chief Financial Officer John Murphy. This is because the spending also encompasses investments made by bottling partners.
In July, Coca-Cola forecast capital expenditure of around $2.2 billion for the current fiscal year.
The company has also released findings from an independently commissioned study that highlights the significant economic contribution of its US system. The study found that the Coca-Cola system contributed approximately $85 billion to US gross domestic product in one year and supported nearly 1 million jobs.
