Coca-Cola Targets $10 Billion US Infrastructure Investment by 2030
Coca-Cola has announced plans to invest $10 billion in US infrastructure by 2030. The investment will cover both the company and its bottling partners, with projects already underway in states such as California, Colorado, Alabama, and New York.
The planned spending includes previously announced initiatives, and Chief Financial Officer John Murphy noted that the $10 billion figure represents a system-wide total rather than Coca-Cola's capital expenditure alone. This is because it encompasses spending by its bottling partners as well.
In July, Coca-Cola forecasted a capital expenditure of around $2.2 billion for the fiscal year. The company also released findings from an independently commissioned study, which revealed that its US system contributed $85 billion to the country's GDP in one year and supported nearly 1 million jobs.
