Coca-Cola remains the leading beverage brand in Australia, according to data from YouGov. The market research firm found that 43.2% of Australian adults consider purchasing Coca-Cola when buying beverages.

The data also revealed significant generational differences in brand appeal. While Coca-Cola tops the ranking across all age groups, some brands experience a sharp decline in consideration as consumers get older.

For example, Red Bull shows an eleven-fold decline in consideration among Baby Boomers+, with only 2.3% of this age group considering purchasing the energy drink. In contrast, Schweppes gains relevance with age, scoring 22.1% among Gen Z but rising to 32.5% among Baby Boomers+.

The data was collected from August 2025 to July 2026 and is based on a minimum sample size of 10,930 Australian adults. Consideration is reported as the percentage of respondents who would consider purchasing each brand when buying beverages.
