Coca-Cola United has unveiled its new $330 million facility in Birmingham, Alabama, marking a significant milestone in the company's 125-year history. The building, which serves six states and 52 sites under one roof for the first time, is a testament to the company's commitment to staying within the city limits of Birmingham.

The tour of the new facility begins on 'Main Street,' a three-story-high open space that serves as the center of connectivity. A replica of a 1902 delivery wagon from the company's first delivery system, featuring a horse and wagon, is proudly displayed in the atrium. The building's walls are adorned with caramel-colored wood fixtures, paying homage to the iconic color of Coca-Cola.

The warehouse area features the state-of-the-art Vertique system, a vertical robotic system designed for efficiency that makes employees' work easier without taking away jobs. The company is honoring the site's past and the people who worked there by displaying photos and some of the valves made on site on the walls.
