Coca-Cola Unveils 2027 Beverage Innovations Across Portfolio
The Coca-Cola Company has revealed a lineup of new beverage innovations across its brands, set to roll out in 2027. The company previewed these updates ahead of the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas, showcasing new flavors, functional drinks, and protein products. The announcements reflect growing consumer demand for zero-sugar options, functional benefits, and novel flavor experiences.
Among the highlights is the upcoming launch of Coca-Cola Cherry Lime in February 2027, followed by Coca-Cola Strawberry Float in summer 2027. The company will also trial prebiotic versions of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Sprite Zero Sugar, and Fresca in select regions from late October 2026. These products will contain 6g of prebiotic fiber and zero sugar, serving as a test to gauge consumer response. Additionally, Mr Pibb Black-Current, a limited-edition drink with blackberry and blackcurrant flavors, is scheduled for spring 2027.
In the hydration category, Powerade will introduce watermelon and lemon lime zero-sugar variants in January 2027, while Vitaminwater will launch its zero-sugar formula 100 in March, offering 100% of the daily value of several vitamins. Bodyarmor Fit, a sparkling, zero-sugar sports drink with 290mg of electrolytes and 60mg of caffeine, is already available nationally. Topo Chico is expanding its range with a new premium carbonated water and a pineapple coconut variant in February 2027.
In the protein category, Fairlife is expanding its Core Power range with new Banana and Strawberry flavors. Core Power Banana will launch in January 2027 in both 26g and 42g protein formats, marking the brand's first new flavor in nearly a decade. Fairlife is approaching $4 billion in retail sales, with both Fairlife and Core Power recording double-digit growth. Shakir Moin, president of marketing for North America at The Coca-Cola Company, emphasized the company's ability to meet evolving consumer needs through its diverse portfolio.
