Coca-Cola Unveils Global Packaging Overhaul with Yorkshire Roots
Coca-Cola has rolled out a new global packaging system, designed to bring its products together under a more consistent visual identity. The redesign keeps Coca-Cola's familiar red and white colors at the heart of the packaging.
The new look is being implemented across over 200 markets worldwide. At the center of this rebranding effort is a creative studio based in Huddersfield, called The Superultrarare, which has worked closely with Coca-Cola to develop the new design.
The Wakefield factory, operated by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), is where Coca-Cola drinks are made for the Great Britain market. Established in 1989, the site has undergone significant investment in recent years, including a £31m investment in a high-speed canning line and a £42.3m investment supporting an automated storage and retrieval warehouse.
The new packaging system aims to create a more consistent look across the brand while allowing individual drinks and flavors to retain their own identity.
