Coca-Cola's Can Customizer Accused of Biased Content Filter

Coca-Cola's 'Share a Coke' personalization tool has been slammed for its inconsistent content filter, which blocks everyday religious and political phrases while allowing more troubling language to pass through undetected.

A Fox News Digital investigation found that mainstream religious statements like 'Jesus is Lord' were flagged and rejected by the system, while secular or anti-religious phrases like 'God is Dead' went through without issue.

The investigation also revealed that some political figures' names, such as 'Make America Great', were blocked, but others like 'Defund the Police' cleared the filter with ease.

Furthermore, the system could be tricked by simple workarounds, allowing otherwise-blocked phrases to slip through. Phrases referencing attraction to children, including 'Pedophile Pride', reportedly made it through the filter as of Friday afternoon.
