Coca-Cola's Indian Affiliate to Invest US$117.5M in New Manufacturing Units
Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) is making a significant investment in Andhra Pradesh, India. The company will invest Rs 1,127 crore (US$117.5M) to establish a new beverage manufacturing unit in Vizianagaram and expand its existing facility in Chittoor.
The investment plan was approved by the State Investment Promotion Committee of Andhra Pradesh. HCCB will invest ₹842 crore in the Vizianagaram facility and Rs 285 crore (US$29.72M) to expand its Srikalahasti unit in Chittoor.
The two facilities are expected to support beverage demand across southern India, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and adjoining markets.
