Coca-Cola's Indian Bottling Business Eyes $10 Billion Valuation in December IPO
Coca-Cola's Indian bottling business is reportedly planning to file initial public offering (IPO) papers in December, aiming for a valuation of nearly $10 billion.
The company has already engaged Axis Capital Ltd. and IIFL Capital Services Ltd. as lead banks for the deal, although details such as time, valuation, and structure may still change as deliberations continue.
Most shares sold in the IPO will be offered by existing shareholders, with the goal of raising approximately $1 billion, according to people familiar with the situation.
The listing would allow Coca-Cola to tap into India's strong investor appetite for new products and unlock the value of one of its largest bottling plants in the country.
