Coca-Cola's Thai Campaign Asks: Can the World Wait?
Coca-Cola has launched its global 'The World Will Wait' campaign in Thailand, but with a distinctly local twist. The campaign encourages people to put aside distractions and reconnect over meals, highlighting the importance of being present during shared moments.
The Thai interpretation features two surreal, deadpan humor-filled films: 'The Dentist' and 'The Cable Guy'. In these stories, characters are physically present at a meal but mentally still caught up in their work. A shared Coca-Cola moment helps bring their attention back to the people around them.
'Shared meals have an important place in everyday life in Thailand,' said Kitisak Manoratana, Senior Marketing Director at Coca-Cola Thailand. 'Through 'The World Will Wait', Coca-Cola is encouraging people to pause, be present and rediscover the simple joy of enjoying food with the people who matter.'
The campaign will appear across billboards, social media, and creator collaborations in Thailand.
