Coco Brings Life to KINGDOM HEARTS IV in Late 2027 Release

The KINGDOM HEARTS series has been a beloved franchise for over 25 years, bringing together Disney and Square Enix's vast libraries of characters in unforgettable video game adventures. Recently, at the Disney D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, a surprise announcement revealed that Pixar's Coco will be the first Disney world featured in KINGDOM HEARTS IV.

The announcement was made during the Disney Entertainment Showcase at Honda Center, where new concept artwork for Miguel and Dante from Coco 2 was also unveiled. A full 1:30 trailer showcased Sora navigating the Land of the Dead, complete with matching skeleton makeup to Miguel's. The trailer provided a first look at King Mickey in the new series and even featured a Coco-themed Keyblade.

KINGDOM HEARTS IV is set to release in late 2027, marking the game's first announced release timeframe. This news has generated excitement among fans as they eagerly anticipate the next installment of the ongoing saga featuring Sora, Donald, and Goofy as they protect the hearts of Disney and Square Enix's vast array of characters.
