Commvault Expands Cloud Rewind Protection Across More Microsoft Azure Resources
Commvault has expanded its Cloud Rewind cyber recovery technology for Microsoft Azure to cover more of the cloud platform's resources. The move triples the coverage of Cloud Rewind, which now protects 62% of enterprise-relevant Azure resource types.
Cloud Rewind is designed to help organizations recover complete cloud applications following cyberattacks, outages, and other disruptions by continuously discovering cloud resources, mapping application dependencies, and orchestrating recovery. The technology also allows for simulation-based testing, including in isolated environments.
The expansion is part of Commvault's broader push to extend application-level cyber resilience across hyperscale cloud environments. The company has already expanded Cloud Rewind to Google Cloud earlier this year and deepened its relationship with Microsoft around Azure.
