Conduent is expanding its AI strategy through a collaboration with Google Cloud to bring Gemini models into its Viewpoint platform. The company aims to embed generative AI across its technology platforms and help clients modernize complex workflows.

The initial focus of the partnership is on eDiscovery and data breach response, areas where corporate legal departments face growing volumes of structured and unstructured information, rising costs, and tighter deadlines.

Conduent's Enhanced Review tool applies user-defined protocols to identify relevant content, detect legal issues, and surface high-risk documents earlier in the review process. The technology can answer key case questions in minutes, reduce document-intensive analysis effort by 30% to 60%, and improve accuracy, auditability, and defensibility.

The collaboration will extend generative AI across broader legal workflows, including contract analytics and investigations. Viewpoint Apps use AI-powered analysis to convert large volumes of unstructured documents into structured outputs, such as chronologies, privilege logs, and case reports.
