Congressman Cleo Fields Buys More Magnificent Seven Stocks in September
Rep. Cleo Fields (D-La.) has continued his pattern of investing heavily in Magnificent Seven stocks, adding three of them to his portfolio in September. According to a recent disclosure, Fields made four stock purchases in September, with three of them being Magnificent Seven names: Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG), Netflix Inc (NASDAQ:NFLX), and Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT). He also bought Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock during the same period.
The transactions were relatively small, ranging from $1,000 to $15,000 each. Fields bought Alphabet and Netflix on September 14, and Microsoft on September 10. He also purchased Apple stock on September 8. This activity follows a trend where Fields has been consistently adding Magnificent Seven stocks to his portfolio throughout 2026.
Fields has been particularly active in buying Apple, Alphabet, and Microsoft stocks in recent months. In August, he only added Apple stock, and in July, he invested in Taiwan Semiconductor, a non-Magnificent Seven stock. In June, he bought Nvidia, Alphabet, and Microsoft stocks, along with Quantinuum, another non-Magnificent Seven stock.
Over the past two years, Fields has made 237 trades totaling $22.8 million, with $21.58 million in trades in 2025 and over $1 million in 2026. Despite his frequent purchases of Magnificent Seven stocks, he has not invested in Tesla stock and has also skipped adding Amazon shares this year.
