Control Resonant Smashes 5K2K Resolution on Nvidia RTX 4080 Super GPU

Playing Control Resonant at 5K2K resolution on an Nvidia RTX 4080 Super GPU was a truly immersive experience, according to recent testing by Yahoo Tech. The game's visuals were described as 'trippy' and 'psychedelic', with the addition of path tracing elevating the graphics to new heights.

The testing system used included an Asus TUF Gaming B550M-Plus WiFi II motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D CPU, Thermalright Frozen Prism240 Liquid Cooler, and LG's 39-inch 5K2K OLED monitor. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super GPU was put to the test with various settings, including DLSS 4.5 Quality and Frame Generation enabled.

Surprisingly, the frame rate remained consistent within the high 50fps to low 60fps range, even at 5K2K resolution. The testing also showed that while path tracing is a significant performance hit, it's still possible to achieve smooth gameplay on high-end hardware.
