Cookeville Shopping Center to Welcome Target and Home Depot

Cookeville, Tennessee is set to gain two major retailers as Target and Home Depot announce their grand opening dates for new stores at The Willows shopping center. The Willows, located on South Willow Avenue just off Interstate 40, will feature a 128,000-square-foot Target store that includes a Starbucks Café and CVS Pharmacy. This new location is expected to create over 150 jobs in the area.

Target has announced an opening date of October 11, while Home Depot will hold its grand opening on October 8. Additionally, The Home Depot will host a community event called Neighborhood Night on October 7, which will feature food trucks, live music, and giveaways.

Cookeville Planning Director Jon Ward expressed excitement about the new development, stating that 'they are two retailers our community has wanted for years.'
