Cooler Temps Arrive at Walt Disney World as Cold Front Brings Relief from Summer Heat

A cold front is pushing into Central Florida today, bringing lows that will dip into the 60s for the first time since June. A low-pressure system parked over the eastern seaboard has triggered a weak front and drier air to move into the area.

Northerly winds increase to 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, while some coastal areas may come close to Wind Advisory criteria with gusts reaching up to 35 mph. Rain chances are lower than previous forecasts, but a few storms could still bring strong winds.

The weekend is expected to be pleasant, with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s each morning. Winds will ease and turn onshore later in the weekend, reducing beach hazards and bringing dry conditions.
