Copilot App Gets Tabbed Browsing Feature

Microsoft is introducing tabbed browsing to its Copilot app for Windows and Mac. This feature allows users to view web pages linked in chats without leaving the conversation.

The new feature uses a side panel to display the contents of web pages, which can be viewed alongside chat conversations. Users can open multiple links as separate tabs within the side pane and switch between them as needed.

The tabbed browsing experience is currently available for administrators to opt-in on selected devices, but will roll out more broadly in late November 2026.
