Coral Reef Restaurant Returns to EPCOT Sooner Than Expected
Coral Reef Restaurant at Walt Disney World's EPCOT has been undergoing planned maintenance since September 8, and its initial closure was expected to last well into November. However, the restaurant is now set to reopen on September 29, more than a month earlier than initially anticipated.
The change comes after guests found a November 4 reopening date listed in Disney's reservation calendar in early September. While the exact reason for the accelerated timeline remains unclear, it appears that the maintenance project was completed ahead of schedule.
When Coral Reef reopens on September 29, it will still operate only during dinner hours, having shifted to a dinner-only schedule in January this year. This means guests can no longer dine at the restaurant during lunchtime as they could before.
