CoreWeave Boosts AI Capabilities with Multi-Rack NVIDIA Vera Rubin Clusters
CoreWeave has upgraded its AI infrastructure capabilities by deploying multi-rack NVIDIA Vera Rubin clusters on its cloud platform. This deployment enables hundreds of NVIDIA Rubin GPUs to operate as a single scale-out cluster, making it easier for customers to handle compute-intensive agentic AI workloads.
The company also introduced two new features for its AI Object Storage platform: cross-region write acceleration and a lower-cost Archive tier. The latter provides a more affordable option for retaining infrequently accessed datasets, checkpoints, and model versions.
This move comes as the demand for advanced AI infrastructure grows, with CoreWeave looking to capitalize on this trend by increasing its revenue and cash flow. However, it operates in a highly competitive market dominated by players like Microsoft and Nebius Group.
