Coulthard Backs Norris After Coca-Cola Controversy

Former F1 driver David Coulthard has come to the defense of McLaren's Lando Norris, who faced criticism for refusing to stop drinking a Coca-Cola in a certain room after the Spanish Grand Prix. According to Coulthard, Norris was entirely justified in standing his ground and making his own decision after competing in a high-pressure event.

Coulthard argued that as a professional driver, Norris had earned the right to do what he wanted after a long day of racing. He praised Norris for sticking up for himself, saying 'Well done Lando for sticking his ground.'

Not everyone agrees with Coulthard's assessment, however. Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner called Norris 'unprofessional' over the incident and suggested he should have handled it differently.
