Cox Returns: New Daredevil Series Coming to Disney+

Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock in a new Disney+ series. The news follows speculation that Cox's character would get another show after making appearances in Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Entertainment has greenlit the new series.

The original Daredevil series aired on Netflix from 2015 to 2018 and was part of the now-defunct Marvel Television unit that streamed live-action MCU shows on the platform. All of the Netflix Marvel shows were removed in early 2022, but some have since been made available on Disney+ after age verification.

It's unclear whether the new series will feature other characters from the original show, including Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Frank Castle/The Punisher. However, it's likely that fan favorites like Karen Page and Foggy Nelson will return.
