Disney World is gearing up for a busy month of construction projects across several of its hotels. The most notable renovations are taking place at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village.

The projects are expected to last through October, with some areas closed for refurbishment. At the same time, several other areas of the resort are undergoing separate construction projects, including a new Tropical Americas land at Animal Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Magic Kingdom is experiencing its own set of closures and renovations. The Carousel of Progress attraction has been closed since July 6th to undergo a complete revamp, with an expected reopening in 2027. Big Top Souvenirs and Liberty Square Riverboat are also out of commission until further notice.

Some areas are seeing significant changes, such as the Rivers of America, which is being replaced by a new Cars-themed area called Piston Peak. This will feature two brand-new attractions but no opening date has been announced.
