Cramer Names Dell 'Most Important Stock Today' Amid AI Growth
Jim Cramer has named Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL) as the most important stock today, surpassing even Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA). In a recent X post, he emphasized that if Dell doesn't finish up big on Wednesday, he's not sure what will happen. This assessment comes after Dell reported its Q2 FY27 results, which beat consensus estimates by a significant margin.
The company's revenue came in at $46.97 billion, a 57.8% year-over-year increase that eclipsed expectations. Adjusted EPS of $7.04 also exceeded estimates, and net income rose by 255%. The AI numbers are particularly noteworthy, with Dell booking a record $60.9 billion in AI server orders and recognizing $16.4 billion in AI server revenue.
Dell's guidance was also boosted, with the company raising its full-year revenue outlook by $25 billion to $192 billion and lifting non-GAAP EPS guidance to $25.50. The valuation gap between Dell and Nvidia is another key factor, with Dell trading at a P/E of roughly 23 compared to Nvidia's 44.
