Cramer Sees Giddy CEO at Apple as iPhone Sales Show Promise
CNBC TV host Jim Cramer recently visited an Apple Inc. store in New York to gauge consumer sentiment on the latest iPhone models. He described a 'big crowd' but noted that it wasn't as crowded as some previous launches, and most people were interested in the Pro Max model rather than the Duo.
During his visit, Cramer spoke with Apple Inc.'s new CEO, Ternus, who was reportedly 'giddy' about the launch. Cramer told Ternus that he planned to buy both the 18 Pro and the Duo, and would have two phone numbers as a result.
Cramer believes that Apple Inc.'s strategy of focusing on consumer electronics rather than investing heavily in AI is paying off, with the iPhone generating $54 billion in revenue during the company's fiscal Q3. However, he notes that Apple Inc. is not immune to broader industry trends and has faced challenges such as high memory prices and a Q4 revenue guide that missed some analyst estimates.
