Crane Arrives for Ongoing Disney Contemporary Refurbishment

A large crane has arrived at Disney's Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World to assist with ongoing exterior refurbishment work.

The heavy machine is parked on the north side of the resort, surrounded by orange and white cones. The fourth-floor observation deck has been partially blocked off by rolling planters, as it sits directly below the crane's arm.

This is not the only area under renovation - beige scrim and scaffolding remain on the front of the resort, although the scrim has shifted recently. Previously, work had moved to the Bay Lake side, featuring a scaffolding structure and dark green construction walls.
