CrowdStrike Expands Falcon Platform on Google Cloud and Snowflake
CrowdStrike has expanded its Falcon platform to run on Google Cloud and Snowflake Marketplace, further extending its reach into cloud infrastructure and enterprise data services. This move is part of a broader multi-cloud strategy by CrowdStrike, as businesses increasingly spread workloads across several providers.
The partnership with Google Cloud allows Falcon to run on regional infrastructure in the US, addressing data sovereignty and localisation requirements for customers. The platform will also be available through Snowflake Marketplace, enabling joint customers to use existing Snowflake spending commitments rather than negotiating a separate purchasing path.
CrowdStrike's move is part of a trend where security vendors are seeking to embed their products more deeply into cloud and data environments used by large companies. This aims to reduce operational complexity and improve visibility for security teams, who often face fragmented systems across infrastructure, security operations, and data analysis.
