CX Institutional Cuts Amgen Holdings by Nearly Half

The institutional investor owned 13,833 shares of Amgen's stock after selling 12,152 shares during the period, and CX Institutional's holdings in Amgen were worth $5,831,000 as of its most recent filing with the SEC.

In contrast to CX Institutional's sale, other hedge funds have increased their positions in Amgen. BlackRock Inc. raised its position in shares of Amgen by 4.8% in the second quarter and now owns 49,362,016 shares of the medical research company's stock valued at $17,874,974,000.

Amgen recently announced its quarterly earnings results on August 4th, beating the consensus estimate with $6.29 earnings per share for the quarter.
