Dangote Group Selects Honeywell Technologies for $300 Million Kenya Refinery Project
Dangote Group has selected Honeywell Technologies to provide process technologies and engineering services for its planned 700,000 bpd refinery in Kenya.
The project is expected to become the world's largest single-train refinery once complete and will leverage proven designs developed by Honeywell for Dangote's Lekki facility in Nigeria.
Dangote President Aliko Dangote said his company is committed to expanding Africa's refining capacity and strengthening energy security, with the Kenya facility able to process a wide variety of crude oils from light to heavy grades.
Honeywell Technologies will provide licensing, engineering services, proprietary catalysts, equipment, and digital solutions for the project, which has a scope valued at approximately $300 million.
