Daniel Matusov Takes Over Animation Business Affairs at Amazon MGM
Amazon MGM Studios has restructured its film and television business affairs operations, moving to a genre-based model. This shift involves integrating business affairs teams directly with each creative genre vertical, including animation.
Daniel Matusov has been appointed as the new Head of Business Affairs for Animation. He will join the team led by Melissa Wolfe, Head of Animation and Family. Matusov previously served as a Senior Business Affairs Executive for the TV division since 2019 and was a corporate counsel for the film and TV production legal team before that.
Matusov's career includes roles at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton in the entertainment group and in business and legal affairs at Warner Music Group. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a JD from UCLA School of Law.
