Datacenter Academies Fuel Tech Skills and Economic Growth

Huziafa Bin Yahiya Ibees was thrilled to learn about datacenters and their importance in the future of technology. As a graduate of Microsoft's Datacenter Academy (DCA), he is now working as a paid intern at a new Microsoft datacenter.

The DCA program prepares students for entry-level careers in technology and digital infrastructure through hands-on training in real-world learning environments. Since its launch in 2018, the program has expanded around the world through over 30 partners, including local colleges, technical institutes, and nonprofits.

More than 12,522 students have enrolled in Microsoft datacenter academies globally. While some go on to full-time jobs at Microsoft, others find employment in datacenter and digital infrastructure roles outside of the company.
